Urban Challenge
Typically held in mid July each year, Urban Challenge begins on Friday Evening and finishes Sunday Afternoon, with a variety of different activities available over the weekend, which can differ greatly from year to year.
The only common theme is an Amazing Race style event, with multiple bases and challenges located around the Brisbane CBD.

“Urban Challenge in 2019 – The decision has been made after deliberation by the QLD Branch Rover Council and conferring with the Branch Commissioner for Venturer Scouts, that Urban Challenge will be run in March of 2020.
We understand that this decision will be a disappointment to those who were looking forward to the event in 2019.
The decision was made due to increasing planning constraints with the event being held in July, most of which we hope to have alleviated by the event being held earlier in the year.
A specific date in March will be announced once an Event Chair has been appointed.
As a result of the date move, the QBRC are re-opening event chair applications for any interested Rovers effective immediately. Applications will close at the April QBRC. For information a post will be made on the Queensland Rovers Facebook Page in the coming days.
